Privacy Policy

Who we are

Feral Kin is a doula and herbal support practice operated by Ramstone Holistics Ltd (company no. 13890279), registered at Ramstone, Beckwithshaw, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG3 1SF. You can reach us at erin@feralkin.co.uk.

For the purposes of UK GDPR, Ramstone Holistics Ltd is the data controller.

What data we collect

If you send an enquiry through the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email address, approximate due date and message you choose to provide. If you contact us by email or social media instead, we receive whatever information you choose to share in that message.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we collect it, and on what basis

We use the information you send us only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to become a client, to support our work together. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you have chosen to make, and performance of a contract once you become a client.

An approximate due date is health-related information. We ask for it only because it is necessary to know whether support is available for your window, you are never required to provide it, and it is handled with the same care as everything else you share with us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for 7 years, as required for tax and insurance purposes, and then deleted.

Who else is involved

• Email. Messages are received via Google Workspace.
• Hosting. This site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server logs including IP addresses in order to serve the site securely.
• Fonts. All fonts are self-hosted. No data is sent to Google Fonts or any other font service.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking cookies.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact erin@feralkin.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
